Tortuga Rum Cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My Aunt Grace surprised me by making me my very OWN homemade tortuga rum cake. I was so excited when my dad gave it to me last night. I had never had her cake like this before until this past Saturday night. I casually mentioned...about 10 times...that I wanted one of those cakes for my birthday. Aunt Grace had already said that she was out of tortuga rum and would have to go on another cruise to get some more since it isn't available in the US, so I really wasn't expecting to get one. Not anytime soon anyway. This cake is very similar, but I think BETTER, than the tortuga rum cakes that are sold in the Bahamas and Caribbean. I think that it is one of my new favorite things to eat! Thank you so much Aunt Grace!!! You are the best! And where did you get the rum??
